All assets must be operated in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner. We make it every employee’s responsibility to conduct business with this commitment in mind, and it is management’s responsibility to provide the resources, equipment, training, and tools to ensure we exceed standards.

To that end, we have established Tierra Crude University. Since maintaining a top-notch fleet for transporting crude and other products in the Eagle Ford Shale helps ensure a good safety record, this training and safety program enables Tierra to customize its training based on the real-time needs and expectations of its customers.

Tierra Crude University, created and run by Tierra Transportation’s team of industry and safety experts, is an on-site, hands-on training complex, where loading and unloading scenarios for nearly any situation are presented to drivers as a training exercise. The training complex for Tierra Crude University is complete with tankage, loading headers and customized trucks, especially made for Tierra Transportation.
